If you're researching new construction in Las Vegas, look no further than Vdara at The MGM Mirage CityCenter. MGM Mirage CityCenter in Las Vegas will be a multipurpose $7 billion resort that occupies a quarter mile of the Las Vegas Strip between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo resorts. As the biggest private new construction in Las Vegas and the United States, it's shaping up to reinvent Vegas' real estate landscape. And, Vdara at The MGM Mirage CityCenter will represent the sole condo hotel in Las Vegas' CityCenter.
CityCenter has been referred to as a city within a city, and is being designed collaboratively by MGM Mirage and eight internationally known architects. MGM Mirage is a world-renowned hotel and casino company that owns and and operates 23 Nevada, Mississippi, and Michigan properties, as well as other investments.
Backed by MGM's world class reputation, the MGM Mirage CityCenter in Las Vegas is utilizing second-to-none design, architectural and construction companies to develop an iconic contemporary structure that will redefine the Vegas skyline.
MGM Mirage CityCenter's construction began in late 2006, and will eventually span 66 acres. The planned urban metropolis will consist of seven upscale towers that include residencies, hotel rooms, high-end shopping, gourmet restaurants, theaters, parks, and tourist areas.
MGM Mirage CityCenter's 4,000-room hotel and casino will be the central focus of the project, designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli. Light shows emanating with neon lights will project in sheer Las Vegas glitz and glam style. In total, nearly 50 buildings comprise CityCenter, with the tallest one soaring 600 feet above Las Vegas Boulevard. |

- Vdara - a free-standing condo hotel in Las Vegas with 1,543 units
- Veer - a condominium-only project, with two towers and 702 loft-style condominiums
- Mandarin Oriental Hotel - a hotel residence with 400 hotel rooms and 227 condominiums (no rental components)
- The Harmon - a hotel residence with 400 hotel rooms and 228 condominiums (no rental component)

Located between the Bellagio and the CityCenter hotel-casino, Vdara will be the first CityCenter property. It will consist of 1,543 condo hotel units with designer furnishings, from 500 to 1,850 square feet; you can choose from studios, deluxe studios, and one-bedroom units. Some one- and two-bedroom penthouse suites will be available as well, with beautiful views of CityCenter. Floor plans will become available as the project continues.
Veer, Mandarin Oriental and The Harmon construction will follow at a date to be determined. |
